Skyhawk Flat Roofing Roof Care Plan - Terms and Conditions

 

1. Introduction

These Terms and Conditions govern the use of the Roof Care Plan provided by Skyhawk Flat Roofing. By subscribing to our Roof Care Plan, you agree to abide by these terms.

 

2. Services Provided

Under the Roof Care Plan, Skyhawk Flat Roofing agrees to provide the following services, as applicable to the chosen coverage level:Regular Roof Inspections: Performed at scheduled intervals to assess the condition of your roof.

 

  • Gutter Clearances: Cleaning and clearing of gutters to ensure proper drainage.

  • Multi-Point Roof Checks: Detailed inspections for potential wear and tear.

  • Drone Surveys (if included in your plan): High-resolution imagery and videos to inspect hard-to-reach areas.

  • Emergency Call-Out Services: A same-day response for roofing emergencies.

  • Temporary Roof Repairs: Emergency repairs to prevent further water ingress and damage.

  • Roof Cleaning: Full roof cleaning, including the removal of moss and debris.

  • Downpipe Cleaning: Removal of blockages from downpipes to ensure proper drainage.

  • Client Portal Access: Access to view surveys, invoices, and reports through our client portal.

 

3. Service Availability

  • Our services are available to properties located in Crawley, Horsham, East Grinstead, and surrounding West Sussex areas.

  • Emergency services are available on the same day, subject to availability and weather conditions.

 

4. Subscription and Payment

  • The Roof Care Plan is a 1-year contract with payment due at the start of the contract. Prices are based on a standard small residential property of up to 3 bedrooms and 2 stories.

 

  • For larger properties or commercial properties, pricing will vary, and a free site survey will be provided. The survey may be conducted remotely via Google Maps or, if needed, in person.

 

  • If the customer wishes to cancel the contract before the completion of the 1-year term, the remaining balance of the contract will be due unless no services or visits have been carried out. Cancellation requests must be submitted in writing or via the client portal.

 

  • The Roof Care Plan will continue on a rolling basis after the first year unless the contract is canceled with 30 days' notice before the renewal date.

 

5. Additional Costs for Specialist Equipment

 

  • If any specialist equipment is required for the safety of our staff (such as scaffolding, towers, or cherry pickers), additional charges may apply.

 

  • These additional charges will be discussed and agreed upon before any equipment is ordered or used.

 

6. Customer Responsibilities

  • Access to Property: The customer must ensure that Skyhawk Flat Roofing has safe access to the property and roof for inspections and maintenance.

  • Safety: Customers must inform Skyhawk Flat Roofing of any hazards or obstructions that may affect the safety of the roof inspection or repair.

 

  • Additional Services: Any additional repairs or services not covered under the Roof Care Plan will be billed separately.

 

7. Exclusions

 

  • Acts of God: Skyhawk Flat Roofing is not responsible for damage caused by natural disasters, such as severe storms, earthquakes, or flooding, unless specifically covered under a separate insurance or extended service agreement.

  • Pre-existing Damage: The Roof Care Plan does not cover repairs for issues that existed prior to the start of the service unless specified in your plan.

  • Structural Issues: The plan does not cover damage caused by structural problems with the roof or property, such as sagging or improper installation.

 

8. Termination

 

  • By Skyhawk Flat Roofing: We reserve the right to terminate the Roof Care Plan at any time if we are unable to access the property, if the property is not properly maintained, or if payments are not made as agreed.

 

  • By Customer: Customers may cancel the Roof Care Plan by providing 30 days’ notice before the next payment is due. Cancellations must be submitted in writing or via the client portal. If cancellation occurs before the end of the 1-year contract, the remaining balance will be due unless no services have been carried out.

 

9. Outstanding Payments and Debt Recovery

 

  • If payment for the Roof Care Plan is not made and continues to be overdue, Skyhawk Flat Roofing reserves the right to use a debt recovery agency to recover the outstanding amounts owed.

  • If services have been provided and payments have not been continued, the customer agrees to cover the costs associated with debt recovery, including agency fees, legal fees, and any other related expenses.

 

  • Debt recovery actions will be taken after a 30-day notice period for overdue payments. The notice will be sent via email or postal service.

 

10. Limitation of Liability

Skyhawk Flat Roofing will not be liable for any damages or losses that exceed the amount paid for the services rendered under this Roof Care Plan. In no event will Skyhawk Flat Roofing be liable for any indirect, special, or consequential damages.

 

11. Privacy and Data Protection

 

Skyhawk Flat Roofing respects your privacy and is committed to protecting your personal information. Any data collected for the purpose of providing the Roof Care Plan will be processed in accordance with our Privacy Policy and the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).

12. Amendments

 

Skyhawk Flat Roofing reserves the right to amend these Terms and Conditions at any time. Any amendments will be communicated to customers in advance and will apply to new subscriptions or renewals after the amendment date.

 

13. Governing Law

 

These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes arising under these terms will be resolved in the courts of England.Acceptance of TermsBy signing up for the Roof Care Plan, you confirm that you have read and understood these Terms and Conditions and agree to be bound by them.
